As a Tax Manager based in Slough
You'll handle tax compliance and advisory tasks, ensuring all processes run smoothly and meet regulations. This role is key to supporting the company's financial operations and helping it stay on top of tax obligations.

Description
- Lead and coordinate the corporate tax compliance cycle, ensuring all obligations are met accurately and within deadlines.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business, providing tax guidance across a range of commercial and strategic initiatives.
- Manage VAT and indirect tax reporting requirements, maintaining full compliance with relevant legislation.
- Partner with external tax advisors and auditors to support reviews, enquiries, and compliance activities.
- Keep abreast of developments in tax law and evaluate the potential implications for the organisation.
- Prepare and review tax accounting provisions, supporting accurate reporting within the financial statements.
- Assist in the management and maintenance of transfer pricing policies and documentation.
- Contribute to tax planning and efficiency initiatives, helping to support the group's overall tax strategy.

Profile
A successful Tax Manager should have:
- Strong knowledge of corporate tax compliance and advisory practices.
- Experience working with VAT and indirect taxes.
- Ability to interpret and apply tax legislation effectively.
- Proficiency in preparing and reviewing tax provisions.
- Experience in transfer pricing and tax planning is a plus.
- A relevant professional qualification, such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA.
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail.

Job Offer
- Salary between £70,000 and £80,000, plus bonus.
- Permanent position based in Slough.
