Tax Manager

The Role

We're looking for a Tax Manager to join our International Tax team based in Leatherhead, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in corporate tax compliance, reporting, governance, and advisory activities across a dynamic international business.

Working closely with finance, accounting, and operational stakeholders, as well as external advisors, you'll help ensure tax obligations are met, tax risks are effectively managed, and the business receives practical, commercial tax support.

This role comes at a particularly exciting time as Trinzic prepares to become an independent public company through the planned separation of KBR's Mission Technology Solutions business. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a growing global organisation while helping shape tax processes and support the business through a significant period of transformation.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead corporate tax compliance activities, including the preparation and review of tax computations, returns, and supporting analysis.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support corporate tax payment processes, including forecasting quarterly instalment payments and monitoring tax liabilities.
  • Analyse and review financial information required for tax compliance, reporting, and planning activities.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual tax accounting processes, including current and deferred tax calculations under UK GAAP and US GAAP.
  • Prepare and review tax disclosures for statutory financial statements and support internal and external audits.
  • Maintain tax governance documentation, internal controls, and Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance processes.
  • Manage tax authority enquiries, audits, and other tax-related matters.
  • Provide practical tax advice on business transactions and day-to-day operational activities.
  • Conduct technical tax research and support strategic business initiatives.
  • Support transfer pricing compliance activities and related documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting, automation, and data quality.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
