European Tax Manager | Life Sciences | Remote/Hybrid
Are you a qualified tax professional looking to step into a broad, high-impact in-house role at a global pharmaceutical company?
We're partnering with a leading pharma organisation to find a European Tax Manager to own direct tax reporting and compliance across a portfolio of European countries. This is a genuinely varied role — you'll be involved in transfer pricing, corporate income tax returns and payment calculations, annual tax disclosures for statutory financial statements, and tax audits.
You'll act as the in-house tax expert, working closely with stakeholders across finance, legal and the wider business, as well as external advisors, providing clear, practical guidance on tax matters as they arise.
What we're looking for:
- Qualified Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser
- 7+ years' substantial direct tax experience, gained in-house or in practice
- Comfortable managing tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions (single-country direct tax backgrounds will also be considered — country scope will flex around your experience)
- No indirect tax/VAT experience required
- Fluent English essential; French and/or German a strong advantage
