Tax Manager

London (Hybrid) | Permanent | Competitive Salary + Benefits

I’m partnering with a well-established, international financial services organisation to recruit an experienced Tax Manager to join their growing finance team.

This is a broad and commercially focused role where you’ll take ownership of UK and European tax matters, working closely with senior stakeholders while ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead UK & European corporate tax compliance and reporting.
  • Manage month-end tax calculations, effective tax rate reviews and deferred tax reporting.
  • Oversee transfer pricing policies, documentation and intercompany arrangements.
  • Manage VAT compliance, including partial exemption and cross-border indirect tax matters.
  • Coordinate with external advisers and auditors on year-end tax reporting.
  • Support employment tax obligations, including P11Ds and PSA reporting.
  • Ensure robust tax controls, governance and process improvements are maintained.
  • Provide technical tax guidance to senior finance and business leaders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
