Tax Manager - Personal Tax

I’m working with an independent practice in Dudley who are looking to add a Tax Manager to their Private Client team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced personal tax professional to take responsibility for their own portfolio, provide technical advice and work closely with the Tax Partner and wider team.
The Role
- Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns and computations
- Dealing with property income accounts and self-employment accounts
- Providing technical advice to clients, including around MTD
- Supporting the Tax Partner with workflow and allocation of work across the department
- Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines
- Supporting Partners, Managers and Supervisors with client compliance and reporting
- Getting involved in new business and networking opportunities

About You
- Strong background in personal tax with good technical knowledge
- Experience across accounting and taxation would be beneficial
- CTA qualified preferred, although QBE candidates will also be considered
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Confident with client relationships and communication
- Accurate and efficient when working with numerical information
- Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills
