Tax Manager

An established international business is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to take ownership of tax compliance, reporting, and advisory activities within a complex multinational environment.

The role can be based in London or Farnborough and reports directly to the Head of Tax. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing tax risk, ensuring compliance, supporting strategic projects, and partnering with finance and business stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage UK corporate tax returns across a portfolio of entities.
  • Prepare tax disclosures for statutory financial statements.
  • Support tax accounting, forecasting, and reporting for group reporting purposes.
  • Manage UK group payment arrangements, loss utilisation, and quarterly tax payments.
  • Liaise with external auditors and advisors on tax-related matters.
  • Support tax advisory projects including R&D tax relief claims, capital allowances, and other tax incentives.
  • Advise on UK and international tax matters, including cross-border transactions, transfer pricing, withholding taxes, VAT, and double taxation issues.
  • Maintain and implement transfer pricing policies.
  • Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, assessing their impact on the business.
  • Work closely with global tax, finance, treasury, legal, and accounting teams on key initiatives.
  • Provide technical tax accounting guidance to finance and operational stakeholders.
  • Maintain and enhance the organisation's tax governance and control framework, ensuring tax risks are appropriately managed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
