Corporation Tax Manager

Hybrid Working (2 days a week on-site) | £70,000 - £80,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you a corporate tax professional looking for a broader, more commercially focused role within a large, complex business?

We're partnering with a major retail and distribution organisation to recruit a Corporation Tax Manager into a well-established in-house tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to move into a highly visible role that combines technical tax expertise with genuine commercial business partnering and exposure to strategic projects.

The role sits within a specialist tax function and offers responsibility for corporation tax compliance, reporting, advisory work and employment tax matters across a sizeable UK and Ireland operation.

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing UK corporation tax compliance and reporting activities
  • Overseeing tax provisions, forecasting and tax payments
  • Supporting transfer pricing documentation and related reporting
  • Advising stakeholders on tax implications of business initiatives and transactions
  • Providing support on employment tax matters, including benefits and share schemes
  • Partnering with finance and operational teams on major investment and business projects
  • Monitoring legislative developments and ensuring ongoing compliance
  • Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency enhancements

About You

We're interested in speaking with candidates who bring:

  • Strong UK Corporation Tax experience
  • Experience gained within industry or practice
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A commercial mindset and ability to provide practical tax advice
  • Experience of tax reporting and tax accounting processes

Candidates currently working in industry tax teams, or those looking to make their first move from practice, are both encouraged to apply.
