Tax Manager

Pure Search are exclusively partnered with a global Fintech business in London looking to hire an Tax Manager to look after UK and International Tax.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver month-end direct tax computations across UK and European legal entities, including effective tax rate analysis, loss utilisation reviews, group relief assessments, and transfer pricing calculations.
  • Coordinate with external advisers on year-end current and deferred tax provisions, tax disclosures for statutory accounts, and audit-related tax matters.
  • Oversee corporate tax advisory and compliance activities including m&a, projects, return preparation and submission, quarterly instalment payment calculations, management of tax losses, and monitoring of filing and payment obligations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance tax processes, controls, and risk management frameworks to support compliance and governance requirements.
  • Manage indirect tax compliance, including VAT return preparation, VAT accounting entries, partial exemption calculations, advisory support on technical VAT matters, and oversight of VAT/GST obligations in international territories.
  • Coordinate employment tax reporting requirements, including P11D processes, annual PSA preparation and submission, and liaison with payroll and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting of taxable benefits and expenses.
  • Maintain transfer pricing policies and documentation, including Master File and Local File requirements, monitoring jurisdictional documentation obligations, reviewing intercompany agreements, and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment of transfer pricing arrangements.

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Broad tax expertise across corporate tax, VAT and transfer pricing
  • UK & International tax experience
  • Compliance experience including preparation of corporate tax returns
  • Previous Financial Services or Fintech experience is not required
  • Senior stakeholder management experience
  • Ability to travel into the London office minimum 3 days per week
  • No visa sponsorship available

This is a full-time role based in Central London 3 days per week, paying up to £110k + bonus.
