About the role
KPMG Tax & Legal helps organisations manage complex tax and workforce challenges while supporting compliance, growth and strategic decision-making. Within Global Mobility Services, you will help organisations manage internationally mobile workforces, providing practical advice on expatriate tax, social security and cross-border working matters. The team continues to grow and offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, including large multinational organisations and well-known brands, while building strong leadership and client management experience.
Roles and responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of clients and oversee the delivery of global mobility and expatriate tax services.
- Build trusted client relationships and act as the primary contact for key stakeholders.
- Manage project delivery, budgets and billing to ensure efficient and high-quality client outcomes.
- Provide practical advice on tax, social security and broader international mobility matters.
- Review tax returns and oversee compliance activities for internationally mobile employees.
- Deliver arrival and departure briefings for senior assignees and mobile employees.
- Support business development activities, proposals and opportunities for practice growth.
- Coach, develop and support junior colleagues to build team capability and performance.

Experience and skills needed
- Experience delivering UK expatriate tax compliance and advisory services, including tax returns and employee briefings.
- Experience managing client relationships and leading the delivery of complex mobility engagements.
- Experience coordinating international or UK-led global mobility projects across multiple stakeholders.
- Experience reviewing technical work and providing clear, client-focused written and verbal advice.
- Experience managing budgets, project delivery and competing priorities to meet deadlines.
- Experience coaching, supporting or developing team members within a professional services environment.

Qualifications required
ACA, CTA or an equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
