We're partnering with a successful, listed, International Marketing and Media Group in their search for a Tax Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, the Tax Manager will play a central role in the group's monthly tax accounting and reporting process, coordinating the global tax consolidation and ensuring submissions from across the international business are complete, accurate, and on time. The role is full time and based in the City of London, with three days a week in the office.
What makes this role different
- Accounting-led scope. The role is built around group tax reporting, consolidation, and audit rather than advisory work or a heavy UK compliance calendar.
- Global listed-group exposure. You will coordinate reporting across an international public company, with substantial US exposure and direct involvement in monthly, interim, and year-end reporting.
- Technology-enabled delivery. Much of the process is already automated, allowing you to focus on review, judgement, control, and continuous improvement.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
