In-House Tax Manager

We are supporting a leading private equity investment firm as they continue to expand their in-house tax function. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-calibre team and gain exposure across a broad range of tax matters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The role offers a varied workload, combining core compliance and reporting responsibilities with advisory and project-based work. The successful individual will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and play an important role in supporting the firm's ongoing growth and investment activity.

- Managing corporate tax compliance obligations across the group.
- Supporting indirect tax compliance requirements, including VAT matters.
- Assisting with corporate tax advisory projects and providing guidance on the tax implications of business initiatives.
- Supporting transfer pricing compliance and documentation requirements.
- Gaining exposure to fund structuring, investment structuring and transaction-related tax matters.
- Working alongside internal stakeholders and external advisers on a range of UK and international tax issues.
- Monitoring legislative developments and assessing their impact on the business.
- Supporting the continued development of tax processes, controls and governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with candidates from a variety of backgrounds and do not expect applicants to have experience across every aspect of the role. The successful candidate is likely to have:

- A strong foundation in corporate tax compliance.
- ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience gained within a Big 4, Top 20, professional services or in-house tax environment.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
- A proactive approach and willingness to develop expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines.
