The Private Tax team specialises in advising privately owned businesses, wealthy individuals, families, and private equity-backed portfolio companies. You will be working collaboratively across the firm to deliver holistic, innovative solutions that help clients achieve their ambitions.
Your new role
As a Private Client Tax Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. You'll manage relationships with privately or family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and business owners, advising on a broad range of complex UK and international tax matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading client engagements and managing tax advisory projects
- Developing long-term relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Collaborating across service lines to deliver integrated solutions
- Staying up to date with UK and overseas tax legislation and technical developments
- Supporting and coaching junior team members
- Contributing to business development and thought leadership through networking and technical writing

What you'll need to succeed
- ACA and/or CTA qualification (or international equivalent)
- Relevant and up-to-date UK (and some overseas) tax knowledge
- Experience advising privately owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, and business owners
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple client engagements
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- A coaching mindset and commitment to developing others
- Strong written communication skills, including technical memos and reports
- Initiative, drive, and the ability to build trusted client relationships
