Manager – Real Estate Tax

A leading accountancy firm is seeking a Real Estate Tax Manager to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a strategic growth area within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

The Role

As a Real Estate Tax Manager, you’ll manage a portfolio of clients across the real estate sector, delivering both advisory and compliance services. You’ll play a key role in transactional work, including tax structuring and due diligence, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to grow client relationships and identify new opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex tax advisory projects and compliance assignments.
  • Leading tax structuring and due diligence for M&A activity.
  • Coordinating specialist tax advisory work (e.g., VAT, Stamp Taxes, Capital Allowances).
  • Supporting international tax projects through global networks.
  • Mentoring junior staff and acting as a line manager.
  • Contributing to business development and practice growth.

About You

You’re a technically strong tax professional with experience in the real estate sector. You’re commercially minded, client-focused, and confident managing both projects and people.

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or equivalent).
  • UK corporate tax experience, ideally within a real estate-focused team.
  • Strong understanding of specialist taxes relevant to real estate.
  • Proven project and client management skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
