Tax Manager Opportunity in London

Pure Search are supporting a multinational technology business in London in their pursuit for a Tax Manager hire to report into the Head of Tax.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly tax reporting and consolidation process, incorporating international inputs, reviewing submissions and assessing both current and deferred tax positions.
  • Analyse tax balances and reporting packs, perform GAAP-to-IFRS reconciliations, investigate variances and work with finance stakeholders to resolve technical or reporting issues.
  • Prepare and maintain deferred tax calculations, period-end tax provisions, effective tax rate analysis, account reconciliations and relevant financial statement disclosures.
  • Manage tax data and consolidation models using advanced Excel, maintaining clear supporting documentation and audit trails while serving as a key point of contact during tax audits.
  • Coordinate global minimum tax and international tax transparency requirements, overseeing data gathering, calculations, review processes, external adviser engagement and submission deadlines.
  • Take ownership of annual corporate tax compliance, coordinating preparation and review of returns and computations, ensuring accurate and timely submissions and responding to subsequent information requests.
  • Strengthen the overall tax reporting framework through effective controls, timetables and process documentation; challenge system-generated information, investigate data issues and implement practical improvements while maintaining strong relationships with finance teams, advisers and auditors.

  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
  • Technically strong UK Tax compliance, tax reporting and tax accounting experience
  • Pillar II compliance experience
  • Straight from practice or in-house experience
  • Ability to travel into the London offices 3 days per week
  • No visa sponsorship available

This is a full time role based in Central London 3 days per week, paying up to £85,000 + 10% bonus.
