Tax Manager - Americas Operations
A global energy services group is seeking a Tax Manager to support its Americas operations. The role focuses on tax compliance, tax provisioning, quarterly instalments, audit support, tender input, and ad-hoc advisory across the region, with additional exposure to international tax matters.
The successful candidate will work closely with regional finance leaders, external advisors, and auditors to ensure accurate reporting, strong governance, and efficient tax processes. This position suits a technically strong tax professional who enjoys a blend of compliance, advisory, and cross-border work.

- Tax compliance — Manage timely and accurate filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Tax law monitoring — Stay current on regulatory changes and assess business impact.
- Tax provisioning — Prepare and review tax provisions and deferred tax calculations.
- Quarterly estimates — Prepare quarterly tax payment estimates.
- Audit coordination — Liaise with external advisors and auditors.
- Transfer pricing — Advise on requirements and support documentation.
- Authority enquiries — Manage responses to tax authorities.
- Advisory support — Provide tax input for regional projects and cross-border tenders.
- International tax queries — Support ad-hoc matters across Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Suriname, and Guyana.
- Process improvement — Identify and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Risk management — Monitor tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Advisor management — Lead and manage external tax advisors.
