Join ‘Team Tax’
Join our tax team on a 12-month paid placement as part of your sandwich degree course and gain practical experience working with real clients on real challenges.
What You’ll Do
- Build technical expertise and turn complex tax rules into clear, practical advice.
- Work directly with clients and colleagues from day one on both compliance and advisory.
- Build expertise across UK and international tax, supported by a globally connected team.
- Develop the confidence, judgement, and technical skills to become a trusted business adviser.
- Use digital tools to work smarter and add more value for our clients.

What We're Looking For
We’re looking for under-graduates who are curious, motivated, and ready to get involved. You don’t need to have studied tax before — we’ll give you the training, support, and experience to build your career from day one.
To Be Considered, You’ll Need
- A minimum of 112 UCAS points across 3 A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification), or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (Higher Level).
- A predicted/obtained honours degree.
- To be studying a sandwich degree or a degree where you can take a placement year.
- An existing, permanent right to live and work in the UK.
- A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
RSM doesn’t accept General Studies, AS levels, or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).
