What you’ll be doing
Working with tax and technology teams, you will:
- Spot opportunities to simplify, standardise and automate tax processes.
- Develop, test and embed practical solutions.
- Support tax technology pilots, automation initiatives and our tax reporting platform.
- Provide user guidance, training and technical support.
- Maintain relevant SOX controls and change-management processes.
- Build strong partnerships across tax, finance, technology and governance teams.
- Stay curious about automation, AI and emerging tax technology, and help explore how they could be used in practice.

What we’re looking for
We need someone who understands tax and is excited by technology, data and better ways of working.
- Experience in at least one area of tax, such as indirect, direct or employment tax.
- Evidence of improving a process, automating a task or solving a problem with technology.
- Confidence working with data, spreadsheets and digital tools, and an interest in developing these skills further.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Curiosity, initiative and a willingness to learn.
- A practical, collaborative approach and confidence taking ownership.
- A tax or accounting qualification is welcome, although practical experience and confidence operating in a tax environment are more important.
