Tax Project Manager

An experienced Tax Project Manager is required to support a global tax transformation programme, transitioning tax activities from regional finance teams into a central tax function across multiple international jurisdictions. This is a hands-on role requiring strong tax knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different countries and functions.

This is a 12 month FTC, starting as soon as possible. The business is hybrid, with a working pattern of 2 days per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of direct and indirect tax activities from finance teams into the tax function across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Act as the main point of contact for tax matters, working closely with finance teams, business stakeholders, and external advisors.
  • Document processes, maintain compliance trackers, identify control gaps, and ensure all tax obligations are met during transition.
  • Develop scalable processes and support the successful handover of activities into business-as-usual operations.
  • Manage multiple workstreams independently while driving projects to agreed timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
