Tax Senior - Canary Wharf, London

Perlin Franco, part of the Citrus Group, is a Canary Wharf-based accountancy practice with over 30 years' history, built primarily on client referrals. We provide accounting, audit, bookkeeping, company secretarial, payroll, and tax services, supported by in-house bookkeeping/payroll specialists and a network of external experts for complex matters. We're a member firm of the ICAEW, with regular technical training and an annual external review of our procedures.

The Role

We're looking for a Tax Senior to manage a varied portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients - from preparing and reviewing computations through to advising clients directly. You'll:

  • Manage personal and corporate tax compliance, including preparing and reviewing tax returns and computations
  • Review work prepared by junior team members and support their development
  • Ensure accurate, timely filing with HMRC and handle HMRC queries, enquiries, and investigations
  • Advise clients on tax planning opportunities and explain tax issues clearly in meetings, calls, and written communications
  • Work closely with our accounting team, linking financial statements to tax computations
  • Monitor legislative change and help improve how the tax function runs

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
