About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious tax professional looking to develop their career within a supportive, close-knit environment. Whether you're an experienced Tax Senior ready to step up or already operating at Assistant Manager level, we’re open to considering candidates who can demonstrate the right blend of technical expertise, commercial awareness, and growth potential.
With a team of around 36 employees and a varied client portfolio, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of tax matters while enjoying genuine opportunities for progression and excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients
- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax returns
- Providing tax compliance and advisory support to a varied client base
- Supporting clients with tax planning opportunities and tax-efficient structures
- Assisting with HMRC correspondence and enquiries
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team where appropriate
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and contribute to departmental growth

About You
We're interested in speaking with individuals who are keen to develop their career within a progressive and collaborative practice environment.
You may be:
- An experienced Tax Senior looking to take the next step into management
- An existing Assistant Manager seeking a fresh challenge
- A tax professional with mixed tax experience and a particular interest in corporate tax
Essential Requirements
- ATT, ACA, or ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience)
- Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- Strong understanding of UK tax compliance
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Proactive approach with a genuine desire to learn and develop
- UK resident with permanent, unrestricted Right to Work in the UK.
Desirable Experience
- Corporate tax compliance and advisory work
- Exposure to SDLT, employment taxes, payroll taxes, or wider business taxation matters
- Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
