Private Client Solicitor – Tax Focus
Wiltshire - Hybrid
A great opportunity for a junior Private Client Solicitor looking to build a genuine specialism in tax and wealth planning.
You’ll work closely with an experienced Private Client & Tax specialist, gaining hands-on exposure to complex matters and the opportunity to develop your technical expertise through genuine mentoring and support.
What makes this role particularly interesting?
- Develop expertise across IHT, CGT, Income Tax and SDLT
- Work on estate and succession planning for individuals, families, business owners, trustees and farmers
- Gain exposure to family investment companies and property investment businesses
- Advise on the tax implications of business sales, retirement and other key life events
- Understand how personal, business and property interests interact
- Support towards STEP, ATT or CTA qualifications

You don’t need to be a tax specialist already. What matters is your interest in tax, strong technical ability and ambition to develop a specialist skill set.
Ideally, you’ll have 1–3 years’ PQE in Private Client, excellent client skills and a genuine appetite to learn.
