Tax Expert (AI Taxonomy & Data Annotation)

Job Title: Tax Expert (AI Taxonomy & Data Annotation)
Location: London, UK (Hybrid – 10 days’ Work from Office per month)
Contract: 6-12 Months

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Expert with a strong background in Tax Accounting, Tax Filing, Tax Returns, and Business Finance to support an AI-driven Taxonomy and Data Annotation initiative. This is not a traditional tax preparation role. The successful candidate will work closely with engineering and AI teams to improve the quality, structure, and accuracy of tax-related datasets used for AI models.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and refine annotation guidelines for tax and financial datasets.
  • Advise engineering and AI teams on financial data taxonomies and tax concepts.
  • Review AI-generated outputs and identify inaccuracies, hallucinations, bias, and edge cases.
  • Translate tax legislation and accounting principles into structured data requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality AI training data.
  • Apply tax domain expertise to validate financial and tax-related content.
  • Work independently to deliver high-quality outputs within project timelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
