About the role:

We are looking for a curious and enthusiastic candidate to join our Data and AI sub-team within the Tax Technology and Transformation team.
You will help our clients transform how their tax functions operate by designing and deploying innovative technology solutions.
Tax Technology is a fast-growing part of the PwC tax practice with a strong, growing, pipeline of opportunities. As a result, we are looking to build our team to meet the increasing demand from clients to help them deliver tax in a better way.

What your days will look like:

Designing and implementing data, automation and AI-enabled solutions that help clients improve the way they manage tax. This involves:

  • Leading or supporting discovery and requirements-gathering workshops.
  • Translating tax and finance challenges into technology solutions.
  • Overseeing solution design, development, testing and deployment.
  • Managing multidisciplinary teams of tax, data and technology specialists.
  • Leading proposals, demonstrations and client pitches.

The role is for you if you have:

  • Experience of implementing tax and/or finance technology using AI, data analytics or automation solutions.
  • A strong understanding of accounting, and at least one area of tax.
  • A keen interest in technology, including emerging AI developments and learning new tools.
  • Understanding of process requirements gathering and design, particularly in a technology context.
  • Experience managing multiple projects.
  • Experience working with clients to understand their needs and deliver practical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
