Job Description
Radius has grown rapidly at a time when tax requirements have become more complex and reporting more onerous (e.g. VIDA, real-time reporting). The group has tax compliance responsibilities for over 80 legal entities across the UK, Europe, Asia and US. We are seeking a Tax Trainee to join our in-house Tax Compliance team.
The Tax Compliance team is responsible for ensuring the group meets its tax compliance obligations accurately, timely and efficiently across all jurisdictions in which it operates. The team manages the preparation, review and submission of VAT, GST, sales tax, corporate income tax, withholding tax and other tax returns, while maintaining robust controls to ensure compliance with local tax legislation and reporting requirements. We also work closely with external advisors to manage overseas direct tax compliance, ensuring corporate tax returns and associated filings are prepared and submitted accurately and on time.
We work closely with the business and the Direct and Indirect Tax Advisory teams to ensure the correct tax treatment of transactions, support tax authority enquiries and audits, identify and mitigate compliance risks, and drive process improvement and automation initiatives. The team plays a key role in safeguarding the Group's tax position by ensuring compliance obligations are met, risks are effectively managed, and opportunities for operational efficiency are identified and realised.
The role will involve learning across both corporate tax and indirect tax to build knowledge and understanding in both areas, while developing a strong foundation in tax compliance, systems, and data.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
