Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Taxi Driver role. The Taxi Driver will provide safe, courteous, and timely transport services for passengers, including local residents, students, and business clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Collecting passengers from designated locations
- Following planned routes or navigation systems
- Assisting passengers with boarding and luggage
- Processing payments accurately

The role involves maintaining vehicle cleanliness, performing basic vehicle checks, and reporting any issues promptly to ensure operational reliability. The Taxi Driver will also use the company’s booking and dispatch technology to accept jobs, communicate with the operations team, and deliver a consistently high standard of customer service.
Qualifications
- Training: Ability to complete and apply company-provided training on safety, customer service, and use of booking/dispatch systems.
- Sales: Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to promote services, support repeat business, and represent the company professionally.
- Automotive: Confident, safe driving skills with a clean or low-risk driving record and experience operating vehicles in varying road and weather conditions.
- Valid driving license appropriate for taxi/private hire work and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Good knowledge of local routes in Aberystwyth and surrounding Mid Wales areas or willingness to learn quickly.
- Strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and a customer-focused mindset.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in passenger transport, hospitality, or customer service is beneficial but not essential.
