An exciting opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic person looking for a diverse role to join our WSH TB service.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with good interpersonal and communication skills, good organisational ability, and the ability to work on your own initiative. You will need to enjoy working in a small team and be able to prioritise your own workload and be confident in working with patients with complex and challenging needs. You will need to identify contacts requiring tracing and follow up as per national guidelines. You will need to ensuring the best possible clinical outcomes by using up-to-date skills and adhering to evidence-based policies and procedures so that the patients under our care have a good experience by respecting, empowering, and working in partnership with people throughout the care planning process.

You will need to communicate with the wider community services and provide support and education in accordance with nationally and locally agreed guidelines.

The role will be mainly community-based, working alongside our specialised TB nurse as part of the multi-disciplinary team, providing high-quality TB care in collaboration with other services to provide a seamless service for people receiving TB treatment.
