Training & Competence Supervisor
Our client is a well-established and growing wealth management group, home to a team of Financial Planners, Mortgage Advisers, and Corporate Financial Planners across the UK. As they continue to grow, they're looking for a Training & Competence Supervisor to join their T&C function and help ensure advisers are supported, developed, and compliant with FCA requirements.
What you'll be doing:
- Overseeing T&C for a portfolio of advisers, ensuring compliance with FCA regulations and the firm's T&C Scheme
- Running observed meetings, 1-2-1s, coaching, and feedback sessions
- Supporting new and trainee advisers on their journey to full competent adviser status
- Delivering induction and ongoing training
- Maintaining accurate T&C records and reporting findings with clear recommendations
- Monitoring transactions against company and FCA benchmarks

What you'll need:
- Current experience in a Training & Competence role within Financial Services, and a clear understanding of what the role involves day to day
- Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS or DipFA)
- Strong observation, coaching, and feedback skills
- A pragmatic, analytical approach with the confidence to challenge appropriately
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable presenting to individuals and groups

Desirable:
- Previous experience as a Financial Planner/Adviser
- J07 (Supervision in a Regulated Environment) or equivalent
This is a full-time, home-based role with occasional travel to the Bath and London London
