Care Professional – Overnight & Evening Duties – Home Instead

Job Description

We are seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Care Professionals for overnight and evening shifts (16:00 until 22:00). You’ll deliver high-quality, personalised care to support our clients in their own homes, making a meaningful difference to their independence, safety, and well-being.

Each visit is tailored to the individual’s needs. As a Care Professional at Home Instead, you could be assisting with:

  • Personal care support
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housekeeping
  • Errands, including accompanying clients to appointments or pharmacies
  • Morning routine assistance
  • Companionship, conversation, and emotional support
  • Safety checks at home

Requirements

  • No formal qualifications needed – full training provided
  • A compassionate attitude and a desire to improve lives through care
  • Independent transport (vehicles used must be roadworthy and insured)

All Care Professionals receive: ✅ Industry-leading training, including FREE Care Certificate Training ✅ Introductions and shadowing opportunities with clients before starting ✅ Ongoing mentorship and support from experienced teams ✅ Enhanced pay rates for weekends, bank holidays & night shifts
