Home Instead Care Professional – Afternoon & Evening Roles

About Home Instead

Home Instead is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people.

About the Role

We’re hiring passionate Care Professionals to join our team for tea time and evening shifts (17:00–22:00). These shifts offer meaningful work, flexible hours and a real opportunity to make a lasting impact on other people’s lives.

Home Instead provides dignified home care designed to keep clients independent, safe, and connected. Each visit is tailored to the individual’s needs—no two days are the same.

What You’ll Do

As a Home Instead Care Professional, you could be supporting clients with:

  • Personal care (e.g., assistance with dressing, bathing, toileting)
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation and light cooking
  • Household tasks (e.g., laundry, tidying)
  • Errands and outings (e.g., escorting clients to appointments or grocery shopping)
  • Morning routine support (e.g., helping clients dress and prepare for the day)
  • Companionship and conversation
  • Home safety checks (e.g., emergency preparedness, fall prevention)

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
