# Home Instead: Care Professional (Evening) – UK Roles
About Home Instead
Home Instead is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. By offering hourly, personalised support within clients' homes, we empower them to maintain independence, stay active, and have meaningful connections.
About the Role
We are actively seeking compassionate, dedicated Care Professionals to join our team for tea time and evening shifts (17:00–22:00). With minimum one-hour visits, our Care Professionals deliver tailored, at-home care that makes a real difference.
Home Instead trains all staff from the ground up—no qualifications are required. Whether helping a client with morning routines, meal prep, light housework, or offering the simple gift of conversation, your work directly supports their dignity, safety, and well-being.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with personal care
- Supporting with medication management
- Preparing nutritious meals and ensuring safe meal preparation
- Performing light housekeeping (e.g., tidying, laundry)
- Running errands such as accompanying clients to appointments, shopping, or social activities
- Offering companionship and engagement to combat isolation
- Ensuring clients’ homes remain safe and healthy environments

Requirements
Minimal qualifcations needed—Home Instead provides all training: ✔ No prior experience required. ✔ Must be committed to positive, caring interaction. ✔ Must have the right to work in the UK (established during the recruitment process). ✔ Suitable transport is mandatory due to home visits.
