Link AP Academy is an Alternative Provision in Bradford that supports students who have experienced difficulties in mainstream education. The academy offers bespoke 1:1 support, providing personalized guidance to help each learner thrive academically and personally. Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Teacher role based at Link AP Academy in Bradford. The Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual needs, often working with students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups.

- Assessing student progress
- Adapting teaching strategies to support diverse learning styles
- Creating a safe, supportive classroom environment
The Teacher will collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to develop personalized learning plans and interventions.
Additional Duties
- Maintaining accurate records
- Contributing to review meetings
- Participating in ongoing professional development to support best practices in alternative provision education
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with experience working with students who have faced barriers in mainstream settings.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning, including designing differentiated and individualized learning activities.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to build trust and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
- Experience in Training or mentoring, supporting learners in developing academic, social, and emotional skills.
- Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., QTS or equivalent) and relevant classroom experience.
- Ability to manage behavior positively and maintain a calm, nurturing learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusive practice in education.
