Key Stage 1 Teacher
Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Full-time
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team in the Dartford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for young children.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
- Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Working closely with colleagues and supporting the wider school community
- Promoting high standards of safeguarding, learning and pupil wellbeing

We're Looking For Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
- Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
- Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to supporting children's learning
- Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
- Works well as part of a team

DBS Requirement
Applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to pay for and complete a new enhanced DBS check prior to commencing the role.
