Key Stage 1 Teacher

Location: Dartford
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
Contract: Full-time

We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team in the Dartford area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a committed teacher who enjoys creating a positive, engaging and supportive learning environment for young children.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
  • Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
  • Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils' progress
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively
  • Working closely with colleagues and supporting the wider school community
  • Promoting high standards of safeguarding, learning and pupil wellbeing

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Has experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Is enthusiastic, organised and committed to supporting children's learning
  • Has excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents/carers
  • Works well as part of a team

DBS Requirement

Applicants must have a fully enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to pay for and complete a new enhanced DBS check prior to commencing the role.
