Role Description
This is a part-time self-employed role.
The Teacher will design and deliver individualized and small-group lessons that align with each learner’s needs and educational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning lessons

The role also involves:
- Adapting teaching strategies for diverse learning styles
- Contributing to learner support plans
- Maintaining clear communication with the wider support network
The Teacher is expected to uphold Prime Tutors Nottingham’s relationship-focused ethos, fostering a safe, encouraging learning environment that promotes academic achievement and personal development.
Qualifications
- QTS is desired, extensive experience in 1:1 or in Alternative Provisions
- Ability to plan and structure effective learning experiences, including strong Lesson Planning and Education skills.
- Demonstrated Teaching expertise, with experience delivering engaging, inclusive instruction to learners with varied needs.
- Strong Communication skills to collaborate with learners, families, schools, and colleagues in a remote environment.
- Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Education or a related field; qualified teacher status or equivalent is an advantage.
- Experience working with young people in mainstream and/or alternative education, including those with additional needs or who are out of school.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a learner-centered mindset that supports confidence and emotional wellbeing.
