Teacher Assessor - L5 Diploma in Teaching
Part time bank / locum
Remote / hybrid
Short Term contract November 2026 – February 2027
We’re seeking a professional Teacher Assessor with strong sector experience, excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for developing others to work with us on a bank / locum basis for the next few months from November to February. We will be looking for a small commitment of 10 – 15 hours a month to be worked flexibly and hybrid with either in person or remote support to our learners.
You will assess and support learners undertaking the Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (DiT), ensuring high quality assessment and learner support that leads to successful achievement of the qualification outcomes. You will play a key role in the development of reflective, inclusive and effective teaching practitioners whilst maintaining compliance with awarding organisation and quality assurance requirements.

Requirements
To fulfil the requirement of this role you must have:
- Level 5 Diploma in Teaching (DiT), Diploma in Education and Training (DET), or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Level 2 English and Mathematics (or equivalent).
- Experience teaching within the Further Education and Skills sector.
- Experience assessing learner work and providing developmental feedback.
- Knowledge of effective teaching, learning and assessment strategies.
- Understanding of quality assurance processes and awarding organisation requirements.
- Strong communication, organisational and digital skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

Contract Details
- Contract Type: Temporary / Bank / Locum
- Contract: Part time - c 10 - 15 hours per month
- Salary: TBC depending on contract agreed
- Location Status: Hybrid
