Salary/Benefits
Salary is between £33,048 and £38,169 per annum DOE and Qualifications, 45 days annual leave plus Bank holidays, Teacher’s Pension, Retail and Leisure Discounts, excellent professional and personal development opportunities, accessing college courses.
Hours/Weeks
37 hours per week – 52 weeks per year
Contract Type
Permanent – Fixed Term (End Date: 4th Jan 2028)

About The Role
We have a great opportunity based at our Dunstable campus for a Lecturer in Graphic Design to become a key member of our Art & Design department.
As a Lecturer in Graphic Design, you will play a pivotal role in the success of our students:
- To prepare, deliver, assess and verify subject specialisms on a range of courses and levels.
- To support and guide students to achieve success and realise their potential.
- To manage students’ learning and provide a high-quality learning experience.
- To contribute pro-actively to developments in the Centre in curriculum development and innovative teaching.
- To participate in marketing and promotion activities to support a range of programmes and learning opportunities.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidates will have recent experience of teaching and assessing on a range programmes and levels and knowledge of the current developments in own specialist area, alongside the following qualifications:
- Level 3 relevant qualification
- Willingness to achieve Certificate in Education or equivalent
- Willingness to achieve Assessor/Verifier qualifications
- English and mathematics or similar at GCSE grade A-C or equivalent or willingness to achieve English and mathematics Level 2 within one year
- Experience of teaching and assessing on a range programmes and levels
- Knowledge of the current developments in own specialist area
- Experience of working effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
