Salary: £33,809 to £46,603
Calling all Automotive/Motor Vehicle mechanics Lecturers/Teachers, are you looking for your next challenge and an opportunity to improve the life chances of our learners in East Manchester?
Due to fantastic growth in enrolments on our outstanding Automotive training courses, We’re paying up to £46,606 p.a for 36 hours a week, for the right candidate to join our high performing Automotive Maintenance training delivery team.

Here’s the standard bit: As a highly experienced mechanic, You’ll be responsible for planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning vehicle mechanical repair programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles; taking responsibility for your quality of teaching and related curriculum development whilst assessing learners progress in knowledge, skills and behaviours that align with the Automotive Vehicle Maintenance sector needs and devise related assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets.

What you’ll need:
- Enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated with Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2, you must have a Level 3 qualification or relevant NVQ in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
Not essential but preferred:
- Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education or you are required to achieve Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 3 years of appointment, relevant assessment qualifications - IQA/A1/V1 and evidence of current Continuous Professional Development.
