Teacher (Maths, English & Science) – Heald Green & Cheadle Hulme

Intuition Centres is a well-established tuition provider supporting students across Greater Manchester. We deliver high-quality, small-group tuition in a focused and supportive learning environment, helping students build confidence, improve academic performance, and achieve their full potential.
We are currently recruiting qualified teachers to work across our Heald Green and Cheadle Hulme tuition centres.
Role Description
We are looking for qualified Maths, English, and Science teachers to deliver engaging, high-quality tuition to small groups of students.
This is an on-site teaching role based at our Heald Green and Cheadle Hulme centres. Lessons are 2 hours long and take place during evenings and weekends, making this an ideal opportunity for teachers seeking additional teaching hours alongside other commitments.

Teachers will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students' individual learning needs.
- Teach small groups in a supportive and focused tuition environment.
- Prepare students for school assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance and student achievement.
- Communicate professionally with parents and carers where appropriate.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning.
Qualifications
Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Maths, English, or Science within the UK curriculum.
- Strong lesson planning and classroom teaching skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage, motivate, and support students of varying abilities.
- Strong organisational skills and reliability.

Preferred:
- Experience preparing students for GCSE examinations.
- Previous experience teaching in a tuition centre or small-group setting.
- Passion for helping students develop confidence and achieve academic success.
Working Hours
- Evenings and weekends
- 2-hour teaching sessions
