Full Time Teacher – KS3/4 English

The Brades Lodge

Salary: Main Pay Scale/UPS + SEN

The Brades Lodge have an opportunity for a passionate, dynamic Teacher of English who is committed to making a genuine difference to the lives of challenging and vulnerable students.

Applications are welcome from ECTs, MS or UPS English teachers. Full support will be given to ensure a smooth transition to being part of an SEMH school team.

As a member of the English Department, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Teach small groups; class size is approx. 8 students.
  • Support students with a range of academic needs, from the gifted and talented pupils in need of stretch and challenge, to those working below age expected levels who require additional support.
  • Be part of an adaptable, friendly and motivated staff team.
  • Access high quality, relevant and meaningful CPD.
  • Be part of an established, supportive department.
  • Deliver AQA qualifications, including Step Up to English, GCSE English Language and GCSE English Literature.
  • Work in a caring, nurturing environment where the well being of both pupils and staff is a priority.
