About The Role
Are you an inspiring and passionate Drama teacher dedicated to nurturing artistic talent and confidence in young people? We are seeking an enthusiastic Teacher of Drama to join a vibrant, dynamic team on a permanent, full-time basis starting January 2027.
In this role, you will deliver engaging, high-quality Drama lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Years 7 through 11). Whether you are guiding Key Stage 3 students through their first creative performances or preparing Key Stage 4 pupils for their GCSE examinations, you will play a key role in developing students' creative expression, teamwork, and performance skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, highly effective Drama lessons to students across Years 7-11.
- Build a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation, confidence, and artistic growth.
- Assess, track, and support student progress to ensure high levels of attainment across all key stages.
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities, school productions, and creative events within the department.

What We Are Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Equivalent Classroom Teaching Qualifications.
- Strong subject knowledge in Drama with the ability to teach up to Year 11 / GCSE standard.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for creative arts education and helping every student achieve their full potential.
