$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (pro-rata if part time)

About the Role
We are seeking outstanding educators to inspire and mentor the next generation of Electrical Trades students. This is a permanent part-time opportunity based at Muswellbrook Campus.
As a TAFE NSW Teacher, your role is to guide and enhance the learning process. You will be passionate and motivated to share your extensive industry experience and have proven experience in delivering training in an adult learning environment. This is your chance to build the skills, qualifications, and employability of our students and support their career goals.

About You
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) and a commitment to maintain technical currency.
- Have a minimum of five years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.
- Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document for details.
- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.

Eligibility Requirements
This is a child-related position. Successful candidates must hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) prior to commencing. TAFE NSW will also conduct an Australian National Criminal Record Check on the preferred applicant as part of the pre-employment process.
To be eligible for a position at TAFE NSW, you must be an Australian citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand passport.
An eligibility list, valid for 18 months, may be created for this position and used to fill future vacancies.
