Teacher of English 1.0 – MPS/UPS + TLR 3
Required from January 2027
Burton Borough School is seeking an inspiring and committed teacher of English to join our thriving department at a truly exciting time in our journey. Located in the picturesque market town of Newport, on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border, our school offers easy access to Shrewsbury, Stafford, Telford, and Wolverhampton, making it a perfect location for work-life balance.

Our English department is a dynamic and forward-looking team, with a well-sequenced and engaging curriculum that brings the past to life and helps students understand the world around them. We are passionate about developing curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of literature in every learner. As a key member of this team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in shaping the vision for English at Burton Borough, working within a talented team, and ensuring that every student achieves their potential.
