Role Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality, inclusive lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, that engage, challenge, and support all learners.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and positive classroom environment where diversity is celebrated, and every student feels respected and capable of success.
- Assess, track, and support individual student progress, providing constructive feedback that nurtures confidence and continuous improvement.
- Build strong, respectful working relationships with students, colleagues, families, and the wider community.
- Contribute to curriculum development, team planning, and the broader extra-curricular life of the school.
- Actively engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and contribute to whole-school initiatives.

What We Are Looking For
Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognised equivalent, along with a degree in a relevant discipline.
Experience:
- Experience of working in a UK school environment in either a teaching or classroom support capacity.
- You naturally raise aspirations in the classroom, dedicated to guiding every student toward their best possible outcomes.
Skills:
- Inclusive Mindset: A deep commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, ensuring every child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.
- Subject Passion: A genuine love for your subject and the ability to bring the curriculum to life in meaningful, creative ways.

About The School
Lift Firth Park is a vibrant, mixed secondary school for students aged 11–16. Located in Shiregreen, Sheffield, we serve around 1,200 pupils and reflect a richly diverse community, with more than a third of students speaking English as an additional language. Our school is currently undergoing an exciting period of transformational change, and we are already seeing its positive impact—in the classroom, across the curriculum and throughout our culture. This is an excellent time to join our team.
