Location: Padstow Campus
Temporary Part Time up to 17 January 2027 (0.5 FTE – 17.5 hours per week)
$111,798 – $132,585 salary package - includes base salary ($98,499 – $116,813), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading (paid pro-rata)

About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Floristry educator on a temporary part-time basis (17.5 hours per week) based at Padstow campus, to inspire students through engaging and creative learning experiences.
At TAFE NSW, we deliver high-quality teaching in the Floristry discipline. This role requires a commitment to educational excellence, knowledge of current industry trends and standards, and a passion for floral art and design. You will equip learners with the practical skills, theoretical foundations and professional behaviours they need to work as a professional florist.
The successful candidate will be willing and able to travel between multiple campuses in the Sydney basin, which may include Campbelltown, Granville, Hornsby, Padstow, Penrith, Ryde and Ultimo, and other locations as required to support teaching and learning outcomes.

About You
You are a qualified professional with a genuine passion for Floristry education. You bring demonstrated skills and experience in current floristry trends, product knowledge, professional technique, sustainable floristry and vocational education practice.
You are an engaging communicator who can build positive relationships with students and colleagues, and you are adaptable, organised and committed to delivering exceptional learning experiences.
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Floristry or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of three years current industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

- Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
