About The Role
Teacher of Maths
Uppingham Community College
Grade: MPS/ UPS
FTE percentage: 1 FTE
Contract Type: Permanent
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for providing inspirational learning experiences. You will play a vital role in making a difference in the lives of all our students. The ideal candidate will be a hardworking and supportive team member with a strong understanding of how young people learn and the ability to plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the curriculum as relevant to the age and ability group/subject/s that you teach.
- Be responsible for the preparation and development of teaching materials, teaching programmes and pastoral arrangements as appropriate.
- Be accountable for the attainment, progress and outcomes of pupils’ you teach
- Be aware of pupils’ capabilities, their prior knowledge and plan teaching and differentiate appropriately to build on this demonstrating knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn
What We’re Looking For
Qualifications:
- Qualified to degree level including Qualified Teacher Status
Experience:
- Teaching experience with the age range applying for
Skills & Knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to be fully involved in the life of the school community
- A commitment to supporting and enhancing our school’s ethos and vision
