THE OPPORTUNITY
Are you passionate about languages and eager to inspire the next generation of linguists? The Avon Valley School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a successful team in a school dedicated to high standards and inclusivity.
You’ll teach French across KS3 and KS4, planning and delivering creative and engaging lessons, and helping students to achieve their full potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and highly successful team.
While French is the primary language for the role, the ability to teach Spanish or German is desirable. At Avon Valley School, we believe that languages are the cornerstone of a well-rounded education; opening doors to new cultures.

The Role & Responsibilities
We are looking for a Teacher of MFL who can ignite curiosity and foster a love for other languages and cultures in all our students:
- A specialist with considerable personal enthusiasm for the subject.
- Passionate about student success and committed to raising standards.
- Able to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Able to adapt to meet the needs of all students.
- An excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
