A large mixed secondary academy in Luton is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Music to join their team for an immediate start, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position.
Teacher of Music : The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that develop students' knowledge, creativity, and practical musical skills.

You Will Be Expected To
- Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Support students to develop their musical knowledge, confidence, and practical skills
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE Music where required
- Set high expectations for student achievement and behavior
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
- Contribute to the wider Music Department and school life
- Build positive relationships with students and colleagues

This is a large mixed 11:16 secondary academy in Luton, with approximately 1,500 students on roll. The school has a diverse student community and is committed to providing an enriching education for its students.
