Derby High School Teacher of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion (PER)
Derby High School is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and inspiring Teacher of Philosophy, Ethics and Religion (PER) to join our talented team of subject specialists. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students across the full age range from 11–18, including A Level.
We are looking for a teacher with the ability and ambition to deliver engaging and challenging lessons that foster intellectual curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence. The successful candidate will be committed to helping every student achieve their full potential.

We welcome applications from both full-time and part-time candidates for a temporary contract of one term. Those able to do full time will require the ability to teach KS3 History or Geography. For the right candidate, there is the opportunity for a permanent position in the future.
The ideal candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of themselves and their students. They will possess strong organisational and communication skills, a commitment to outstanding teaching and learning, and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues. Above all, they will be dedicated to ensuring that students of all abilities are supported, challenged and enabled to make excellent progress.
