About This Role

Work Where It Matters Most, Achieve What Matters More

Be part of a team where passion meets purpose, as we work together where the challenge is greatest to change the lives and build the futures of children and young people.

We are looking for a driven and committed practitioner to teach Religion, Philosophy and Ethics to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 on a maternity cover basis. The role sits within the Humanities department consisting of History and Geography as well as RPE. The team are organised, collaborative and passionate about providing the best possible provision for the children at Tenbury High. The academy is committed to delivering a whole school curriculum where the EBACC is central to the learning experiences of our pupils.

You will be able to teach RPE across both key stages. The curriculum is designed to help our pupils gain an appreciation of how religion, philosophy and ethics form the basis of our culture.

The Humanities curriculum creates opportunities which inspire pupil curiosity about their world and the people they share it with. In particular, the RPE curriculum is designed to provide children with the core knowledge they need for success in education and later life. By drawing on the breadth of Religious and Philosophical thought of the last 8000 years, our curriculum enables children to appreciate and participate in the full richness of the human experience.

About The Academy

We are a truly unique, small, rural 11-16 academy in the beautiful setting of North-West Worcestershire. Our pupils are happy, well behaved and proud of their school. The academy has a strong vein of moral purpose where the child is at the heart of all we do. We invest in our pupils and our staff to ensure all are supported to be the best they can be. We are on a fast-paced improvement journey where we are seeing impact of our improvement strategy in terms of behaviour, attendance and outcomes. This is an exciting time to join our school and be a part of this journey.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
