About The Role
St Mary’s CE Middle School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Teacher of Science and Maths to join our wonderful team of staff.
The successful candidate will be able to adapt and deliver our science and maths curriculum to pupils across Key Stage three, demonstrating an in-depth knowledge across all learning areas.
This is a rare opportunity to join our fabulous team and to develop your teaching experience in a supportive, caring environment.
The purpose of the role is to:
- Plan, develop and deliver high quality science and maths lessons using a variety of approaches to enhance teaching and learning
The salary offered will be at main scale 1 to 6, depending on experience (negotiable for the right candidate).

The Successful Candidate Will
- Have the ability to teach science and maths across both KS2 and 3
- Be an excellent teacher who is able to deliver a high standard of education to all pupils
- Be an innovative thinker and have the passion to engender excitement about the curriculum
- Have a good understanding of inclusive teaching and learning strategies to facilitate learning of all pupils, and especially those with SEND
- Have excellent classroom management strategies
- Have the ability to inspire and motivate learners
- Be able to work as part of a team
- Meet teaching standards
