Salary: Main Teachers' Pay Scales: M1 - M6 £32,916 - £45,352 per annum

Contract: Full-Time, Fixed-Term until December 2027 to cover a period of maternity leave

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, creative, and inspiring Teacher of Photography, Art, or Art 3D, who has the energy, enthusiasm, and passion to inspire our students and contribute to our successful Art and Creative Design team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional teacher or ECT to join a large, creative, and highly successful department. We welcome applications from teachers with a particular specialism in Photography, Fine Art, or Three-Dimensional Design. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is passionate about their subject and excited by the opportunity to encourage students to experiment, create, explore, and develop their own creative voice.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have a strong subject knowledge and genuine passion for Photography, Art, and/or Art 3D.
  • Be an inspirational and enthusiastic teacher who can engage students across the full age and ability range.
  • Encourage experimentation, creativity, independence, and exploration through practical and imaginative learning.
  • Have the confidence to combine traditional creative approaches with contemporary technologies and processes.
  • Support, challenge, and inspire students to achieve their very best through consistently high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Be committed to developing students' skills, confidence, and understanding of the creative process.
  • Have excellent communication skills and the ability to celebrate and promote high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Be a collaborative team player who is willing to contribute fully to the life of a busy and successful school.
  • Be enthusiastic about contributing to extra-curricular opportunities, exhibitions, competitions, trips, and wider creative projects.
  • Be keen to develop professionally, share ideas, and learn from colleagues within the department and across the school.
